Contents : this course covers ,
-Sectional anatomy of brain with correlation primarily to CT (per and post contrast, soft tissue and bone windows) and MRI (T1 &T2 weighted images), Correlation of selected images of brain PET and SPECT, to CT and MR images of brain.
-Sectional anatomy of head and neck (orbit, PNS, sella, petrous bone) with correlation to CT (per and post contrast) and MRI in T1 & T2 weighted images.
-Sectional anatomy of chest - chest wall including female breast, lungs, tracheobronchial tree and mediastinum in CT (pre and post contrast) images.
-Sectional anatomy of abdomen before and after oral and IV contrast (CT).
- Sectional anatomy of male and female pelvis with correlation to CT (pre and post contrast) and MRI (T1 and T2 weighted images).
-Sectional anatomy of musculosskeletal system with special stress on the sectional anatomy of joints depicted on MR images. Detailed MRI of the Knee joint in T1, T2, PD weighted images will be an example.
-Sectional anatomy of the Cervical, Dorsal and Lumbosacral spine in MRI T1 and T2 weighted images.
